This Privacy Policy applies to the VehicleDaddy mobile application (available on the Google Play Store under package com.wheelwash.app), our website located at https://vehicledaddy.in, and any associated services, products, or customer support channels (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, registering with, accessing, or using the VehicleDaddy application, you consent to the collection, storage, transfer, and processing of your information in accordance with this policy and Indian Information Technology laws and rules.
2. Information We Collect
To provide our doorstep automobile services, we collect the following categories of information:
A. Personal & Contact Information
When you register using mobile OTP or update your profile, we collect your full name, mobile phone number, and optional email address. This information is required for account creation, authentication, booking updates, and service communication.
B. Location Information (Precise & Coarse)
With your explicit permission, we collect your device's precise and coarse GPS location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION):
- To pinpoint your vehicle's parked location or delivery address during service booking.
- To identify available car wash partners operating in your sector, society, or neighborhood.
- To enable our assigned field technician to navigate directly to your vehicle for doorstep service.
Location is collected primarily while you are using the app. You can disable location permissions in your Android device settings at any time; however, manual address input will then be required to place a booking.
C. Vehicle Details
We collect your vehicle brand, model, vehicle type (e.g. Hatchback, Sedan, SUV, Bike), fuel type, license plate / registration number, and parking spot details to determine suitable washing materials, service pricing, and ensure accurate technician identification.
D. Payment & Transaction Data
We record booking invoices, service fees, payment status (paid, pending, refunded), coupon codes used, and payment method choice. All online payments are handled directly by RBI-authorized payment processors (e.g., Razorpay). VehicleDaddy does not store your credit card numbers, debit card details, CVV, or banking passwords on our servers.
E. Device, Notification & App Performance Data
We collect device identifiers, operating system version, app version, network state, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver push notifications regarding technician assignment, service start/completion, and order receipts. Crash logs and basic telemetry help us maintain application stability.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Service Execution: Facilitate vehicle cleaning, exterior pressure wash, interior vacuuming, ceramic coating, and other requested auto care at your doorstep.
- Partner Dispatch: Transmit your service address and vehicle details to the allocated service partner so they can reach your premises.
- Customer Communication: Send booking confirmations, OTP codes, technician arrival alerts, service completion photos, and invoices via SMS, Push Notifications, or WhatsApp.
- Safety & Fraud Prevention: Verify authentic bookings, prevent abuse, ensure technician safety, and resolve disputes.
- Quality Assurance: Review service ratings, customer feedback, and before/after wash imagery to ensure premium detailing standards.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party technology providers to power key application functions:

- With Service Partners: The designated service technician receives your first name, vehicle details, and service location to complete the doorstep job.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: If mandated by Indian law, court order, or governmental authorities for investigation of illegal activities.
- Protection of Rights: To enforce our Terms & Conditions and protect the safety and property of our customers and partners.
6. Data Security & Storage
All communication between the mobile app, website, and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Database records are maintained in secure facilities with restricted administrative access, regular automated backups, and firewall protection.
7. Account Deletion & Data Retention (Google Play Policy)
How to Request Account & Data Deletion:
In full compliance with Google Play's User Data & Account Deletion Policy, users can permanently delete their account and associated personal data through two easy methods:
- In-App Deletion: Open the VehicleDaddy app → Go to Profile / Settings → Tap Delete Account under the Account section → Confirm deletion.
- Web Portal Deletion: Visit our public deletion request portal at https://vehicledaddy.in/account-deletion and submit your registered phone number.
- Email Request: Send an email from your registered address to support@vehicledaddy.in with subject "Account Deletion Request".
What data is deleted: Your profile, user authentication records, saved addresses, vehicle entries, and notification tokens are permanently purged within 30 days. Completed transaction histories, tax invoices, and payment references may be retained strictly as mandated by applicable Indian taxation and accounting laws.
8. Children's Privacy
VehicleDaddy's services are exclusively intended for individuals aged 18 years and above who own or operate motor vehicles. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has submitted information to us, we will immediately delete that record.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our legal requirements, app functionality, or service practices. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
